so as many of you may know, i’m gluten free. but

since the last time i posted, i went vegan. crazy,

right? it’s been such a fun journey so far and i’m

excited to see where it goes.


i have found SO MUCH good music these past couple of months. but i’m too lazy to share it all here, so i’ll leave my spotify username instead


in addition, i acquired a record player this christmas. luckily, a new vinyl shop opened up in my town. i went after school on friday and picked up a really cool record. there was also a beatles one there but it cost 135$!!!


youtube has been my best friend these last couple of months 😂. the amount of vegan youtubers i’ve watched is insane. here are some of my favs

    okay so i’ve sort of been keeping a secret from you….




    i’m pescetarian!!! i’ve been pescetarian for exactly a month and a half now. it’s awesome. i won’t go too much into detail, that’ll be in a later post, but yeah. i love it!


    i’ve really liked a couple products this month and am excited to share them with you!

    this.pallete.is.everything. the colors are so cute and it smells just like peaches!



    i love this gloss so much! it’s clear and adds the perfect sheen to any makeup look.

    this mascara is really good and i’d 10/10 recommend it!

    heyyyyyyy!! what’s up? today i’m going to be sharing a first day of 10th grade (review??). i’ll just go through all my classes and tell you what i like about them!

    1st period (7:00 a.m.)

    for my first period, i have english which makes me want to fall asleep. my teacher’s voice is so monotone and the class is super quiet. overall i’d give it a 8/10 on the class enjoyment scale.

    2nd period (8:00 a.m.)

    this class will probably grow to be one of my favorites. i have anatomy which seems super fun!! in this class, we’ll get to know basically everything we ever wanted to knoe about the human body.

    3rd period (9:00 a.m.)

    ooh this is probably another one of my favorites. world history. i have some friends in that class and everyone is super funny. plus it’s super easy.


    4th period (10:30 a.m.)

    show choir!! this class gets me energized for the rest of the day and just makes me super happy!

    5th period (11:30 a.m.)

    español!1! okay, i lied. this class is MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE. my teacher is thebomb.com and i really like the people who sit near me.


    6th period (1:00 p.m.)

    JOURNALISM. i love it.

    7th period (2:00 p.m.)

    ughhh this class is so fun. the people who sit at my table are super funny and help make this class enjoyable because i hate math.

    hi, i’m brooke. the brains behind this blog. you’re probably wondering what this post is about and why i haven’t posted in a million years. welllllll, i don’t have an answer to be honest. it’s not like i’ve been super busy or brewing up a bunch of different ideas. i just forgot about this blog i guess? oops.

    but i have a few announcements.

    • i’m starting tenth grade in 4 days
    • my birthday is in a month (lol irrelevant, i know)

    how to get clear(er) skin

    hi! what’s up? today i’m going to be sharing some tips on how i manage to keep my skin clear (for the most part). before we get into this post, please remember that i’m not a dermatologist or anything like that.without further ado, let’s get into the post!believe it or not, packing on less makeup does a wonder for your skin. like all living things, your skin needs some time to breathe and by layering powders over it, your skin will get irritated. this summer i’ve managed to not wear anything heavy over my skin because, 1. i’m too lazy to even try, and 2. my skin feels so much better. since the beginning of the summer, i’ve noticed a huge difference in my skin.okay, i’ll admit it. i’m not the cleanest eater all the time. i like the occasional candy bar or bag of chips, but for the majority of time i try my best to not eat a ton of junk food. when you fill your body with artificial colors, sugars, and oils, it’s bound to react negatively. so if you’re looking for a quick way to help your skin out, cut back on the bad food.i know that you can’t exactly control how much stress you’re out under, but you can minimize it. find a way to eliminate the problem or to cope with it. when you stress, your body freaks out and causes your acne to go haywire. now that it’s summer, you finally have some time away from tests and stressful exams (unless you’re in summer school).this is one that i struggle with SO much. it’s just a really bad habit. when i’m bored, i touch my face. when i stress, i touch my face. it may seem hard to break out of this habit but i promise that when you do, it’ll be worth it. your hands carry millions of germs and bacteria and smearing it all over your face is a recipe for disaster.i hope you guys enjoyed this post and that it helped you out! like i said, i’m not an expert but from experience, these have helped.have a great day!
